Trauma-Informed Therapy for Grief, Anxiety & PTSD
Does it feel like you're surviving rather than actually living? Like something is stuck — in your body, your thoughts, your patterns — and you can't quite get traction no matter what you try? Trauma, grief, and anxiety don't just live in the mind. They settle into the nervous system, shaping how you move through the world long after the original experience has passed.
You don't have to keep carrying it the same way you have been. And you don't have to figure out how to put it down alone.
My background spans foster care, reunification, crisis intervention, and medical social work — spaces that taught me how deeply mental health is tied to real-world circumstances: safety, housing, stability, belonging. That context shapes everything about how I work as a trauma-informed therapist.
I believe trauma is often at the root of suffering. Pain is not a flaw, but a signal of forced survival. Addressing that trauma means working with both the body and the mind — the story you carry and where it lives in your nervous system. As a somatic trauma therapist, I use EMDR, IFS, and body-based techniques to help you process what's been stored, not just talk around it. That's where real movement begins.
My specialties include PTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, grief, and the particular weight of life transitions — the ones that upend your sense of who you are and where you're headed. I work with adults navigating all of these online, via teletherapy in New York.
My style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in meeting you exactly where you are. I am here to walk with you in the dark — to be a member of your team, working with you to define a life worth living on your terms.
Whether you're healing from trauma, working through grief, navigating a major life change, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again... we’ll build tools together to help you move forward with clarity and strength. No therapy jargon, no pathologizing — just real conversations, real relationships, and meaningful change, however that looks for you. I welcome you to the table, whenever you’re ready.
