Clinical Supervision for Therapists | EMDR, IFS & Private Practice Consulting

Private Practice Business Consulting for Therapists

Starting a private practice as a therapist can feel overwhelming — especially when you're juggling questions like "How do I get clients?" alongside the actual clinical work you trained for.

It's easy to get lost in logistics and lose sight of why you became a therapist in the first place. I've been there myself. Now, as a clinical supervisor and private practice consultant based in New York, I work with emerging and established clinicians to help them build something sustainable — and fulfilling.

Whether you're transitioning from agency work to private practice, moving from insurance to self-pay, building your caseload, designing workshops or support groups, improving your marketing, or just figuring out where to start — I'm ready to help.

How Clinical Supervision Works

Before founding Shifting Tides Therapy, I served as Director of Evidence-Based Training at a trauma therapy practice — where I trained clinicians in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I know these modalities deeply, and I know what it takes to actually integrate them into your clinical work, not just understand them theoretically.

I offer clinical supervision for therapists in New York and Connecticut — individually, weekly or biweekly — with a focus on EMDR supervision, IFS supervision, trauma-informed practice, and working with complex presentations including grief, anxiety, addiction, chronic illness, and personality disorders.

Whether you're newly trained in EMDR or IFS and need support applying it with real clients, or you're an experienced clinician looking to deepen your practice, supervision with me is practical, direct, and tailored to where you are.

If you're ready to get clearer, move faster, and build something that actually works — book a free consult today. I also offer sliding scale pricing for supervision and consulting.
