ARE YOU A THERAPIST LOOKING TO START YOUR OWN PRACTICE, OR ELEVATE YOUR SKILLS AS A CLINICIAN?

Starting a private practice as a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you're faced with questions like, "How do I get clients?" or "What systems do I need in place for billing and paperwork?"

It’s easy to get lost in the logistics and forget the reason you became a therapist in the first place. I understand that feeling—I’ve been there myself, and that’s why I’m now taking on mentees to help guide you through the process. Whether you're looking for help with business strategies or building a sustainable client base, I am here to support you. Whether it is designing the perfect, profitable workshop, transitioning from insurance to self pay clients, building your website, finding connections, hiring a team, improving your marketing or creating a support group- I am ready to help!

Before opening Shifting Tides, I served as the Director of Evidence-Based Training in a trauma therapy practice, where I trained clinicians in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. Now, as a dedicated consultant and supervisor, I guide emerging clinicians in mastering these transformative modalities.

In my practice, I love blending EMDR and IFS to create powerful, holistic healing experiences—and I can help you do the same. If you are a clinician working with or interested in working with grief, trauma, anxiety, addictions, chronic illness or personality disorders- I have extensive experience in all of these areas.

Whether you’re just starting with these approaches or looking to deepen your expertise, I offer personalized weekly or biweekly supervision sessions designed to support your growth and elevate your therapeutic skills.

If you're ready to take the next step, let's connect and make your vision of private practice a reality. Book a consult today!

I also offer sliding scale pricing for supervision and consulting if needed.
