We’re so thrilled to welcome Madeline Pucheril, LMSW to the Shifting Tides Psychotherapy team. Madeline brings a warm, grounded, and deeply integrative approach to therapy — one that honors the full complexity of your lived experience.
With a background in global justice and social work, Madeline began her career supporting families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence survivors, and newly arrived refugees. These early experiences shaped her commitment to trauma-informed care and deepened her understanding of how systems, bodies, and identities intersect.
Madeline works with clients navigating:
Chronic pain and illness (including Endometriosis, PMDD, PCOS, and pelvic pain)
Reproductive and hormonal mental health
Grief and loss (including complex, prolonged, and traumatic grief)
Trauma and PTSD
Life transitions (college, career, mid-life, caregiving, relationships)
Burnout and compassion fatigue
Anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and hypervigilance
Attachment and relationship struggles
Madeline supports clients who feel stuck in survival mode — constantly on edge, over-functioning, or disconnected from themselves. Her goal is to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and feel more at ease in your own life.
Her therapeutic style is holistic, personalized, and trauma-sensitive. Drawing from modalities such as:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
IFS (Internal Family Systems)
Somatic and mindfulness-based practices
CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy
Madeline creates a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you're grieving, managing chronic illness, or trying to break free from long-standing patterns, she’ll meet you with empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
